This class will provide a set of advanced insights into the theories and applications of creativity and innovation in business and entrepreneurial environments. The focus is to develop students’ understanding of current management tools and frameworks to more strategically discover ideas, and to turn them into successful opportunities in start- ups and organizations. By using a multidisciplinary approach, this course emphasizes experiential learning and applies a business perspective on the generation and implementation of creativity and innovation. Students may also have the opportunity to work with an external agency on a real-world problem.
