Graduate Admissions:


Marxe School graduate programs attract students from all over the world and represent an array of backgrounds, cultures, and professions. They come to Marxe to engage in thoughtful discourse, absorb fascinating courses, and join the school’s interdisciplinary approach to learning and professional development that bridges the gap between theory and practice.

International students who require a visa should plan to submit all external documents for a complete application no later than November 15, 2025 to ensure paperwork is processed in time for the start of classes in January 2026. International students requiring a visa who complete an application after this date may be considered for Fall 2026 admission. To apply to the MPAOMPA (online)MIAMSEd in Higher Education Administration, Online EdD, or MS in City Planning, use our general application.

Certificate Program Admissions:

Certificate in Public Communication
In this 12-credit graduate certificate,  students learn how to create cutting-edge campaigns that employ digital and traditional media, create diverse, equitable, and inclusive climates, build trust with internal and external audiences, and maintain a positive public image of their organization, among other communication driven results.

Students will study and produce communications in multiple contexts that include policy deliberations, persuasive campaigns, and multimedia, in addition to local, state, national and international communication for a variety of platforms.

Certificate in Quantitative Methods for Policy and Equity Analysis
Are you interested in equity and policies to improve it? Would you like to use the data to provide evidence but do not have the training?

This Certificate prepares students to investigate quantitatively the impacts of policies and programs on underrepresented and marginalized groups. Courses focus on data collection and statistical analysis, including hands-on programming with software packages, such as Stata or R, inferential statistics, and causal analysis using observational and experimental data.

The Certificate accepts students with no prior quantitative training. Students completing the four courses will be ready for positions that require statistical analysis of quantitative data.
