Description
This course is an introduction to the major concepts, principles, analytical methods and tools useful for making investment and finance decisions regarding commercial real estate assets. The focus is on institutional (e.g., banks, life insurance companies, pension funds, REITS) real estate decision-making regarding large-scale commercial property. The course rigorously integrates real estate finance topics with and builds its methodology upon a modern corporate finance and investment framework. Not open to students who have completed REA 9785, FIN 9776 or equivalent.
